Medium red in colour, sweet oak and bright cherry fruits provide a heady mix of aromas on the nose. The palate has plenty of oak that is contrasted by dark cherry and stem characters. The palate is full, ripe and rich, but has just enough acid to tie everything together. This is a wine that will polarise some Pinot drinkers, with the above usual level of oak.
