Hannes Harkamp Sauvignon Blanc Kogelberg

This is a gorgeuous SB (if you like the rich barrel aged style). Rich & dense, balanced by a beautiful acidity, very complex, grassy, hay flavors, wonderful texture, with hints of yeast and very elegant oak flavors on the finish. A step above the 2019 and a hightlight in a fine series of Styrian Sauvignon Blancs that we tasted today. - 93 points

TexSom Grand Tasting (Four Seasons, Irving, TX) : Tasted at TexSom 2019 through Austrian Wine Marketing Board. I've never tasted nor seen a SB from Austria. This exceeded expectations.

Styria style. Soft, elegant. A lot of sauvignon character here but not too much of it.

Classic Sauvignon blanc with vegetal flavors of grass and green bell peppers, fresh acidity. A clean and crisp summer white, not the most complex wine though. - 88 points

tasted @ Vinorama Classic Event: grassy, green bell peppers, fine acidity, cat pee, very typical of lower ripeness Sauvignon blanc, a bit short. - 88 points
