Backhouse Pinot Noir

Cheap, thin, kool-aid like sweet. Worse than box wine.

It was a very light ruby red with aromas of strawberries. The previous cotton candy aromas were gone. It was smooth and a little semi-sweet. It had more flavors of strawberries than floral. The aftertaste was medium and clean. I think that this is about as mature as it will get.

It was light red with aroma's of red berries and cherries. It was light, soft and floral on the palate. It has a cotton candy like level of sweetness...this is not my favorite Pinot Noir. I like them dry.

Light, fruity, very drinkable and a pleasant everyday wine. Nothing memorable but a light alcohol content that makes it perfect for a glass to enjoy with seafood or light colored pasta dishes usually reserved for white wines. I would recommend for hosting casual dinner parties but would not bring to one given the cheap price tag and forgettable taste.
