Medium to Deep Garnet colour, no sediment at all. Nose has jammed cherries, some faint balsamic, touch of heat, spice. Taste is even less fruity, while ink and balsamic are still present, while adding some licorice aspect along with crushed gravel character. Medium-high in body, acid and tannins. Medium/Deep Garnet colour. Strong sweet cherry and boysenberry on the nose, along with robust notes of vanilla, cinnamon and dark coffee/chocolate. Taste replicates the flavors with subtler touch. Dry, but oak maturing gives it a soft spicy sweetness. Medium-high body, acid, and tannins. Very good, especially for the price. Probably could still age at least few years.
