Zesty, light, citrusy. Nice if that’s what you’re looking for.

Who says you need to pair carbonara with an Italian wine? A great dish to stand up to this highly acidic wine! Faint straw-green colour, almost clear. Initial nose of seashell, lime and grapefruit zest, chamomile. After 15 minutes green apple and unripe peach poked through. On the palate, razor-sharp acid, light body, floral and citrus flavours. Overall maybe a touch too perfumed, but I l liked the diversity of flavours. Pair with the right food, otherwise too acidic.

Appearance: light clear gold color with hints of green. No gas or sediment and light tearing Nose: Medium/medium(+) intensity aromas of grapefruit, lemon, and grass with notes of funk. No obvious oaking to me Palate: medium/medium(+) intense tart flavors of lemon and eucalyptus with notes of white peach. Medium/medium(+) bodied, quite dry, refreshing lean texture, great balance, medium complexity, pretty high acid, and a nice medium-length green and slightly flinty finish A very intriguing tart and lean semillon! Great balance …

Good value at $16... very light and refreshing, slight hints of crispness, minerality & sweetness & then a watery finish. A great quaff on a hot day but not a wine of distinction.

Unscrewed and poured, consumed over 2 hours. Appearance: Clear, pale lemon. Nose: Clean, medium intensity, simple aromas of green apple, melon rind, and cut grass. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid, medium alcohol, medium- intensity, flavors of apple, bell pepper, and pear with a medium finish. Good balance and decent intensity, very good effort overall - nice QPR <$20.

Agree that this is a surprisingly excellent fresh expression of a young semillon. However either drink now or keep for another 5 yrs as, like all Hunter semillons, it will go into a mid cycle trough.

(Completely blind sample) Yuzu/lime nose. Bright color. Great cut on the palate with high toned fruit. Quince texture. Good succulence. Low alcohol. Really nice. Picked Semillon from list, guessed Aussie. Lovely wine.

-- cracked and poured -- -- tasted non-blind over a couple hours -- High-toned Nose is fairly light, and not very expressive. Clear, green-tinged water color. On the palate, this is tart with lots of mineral flavor. Not wooly. I like it, and believe this might benefit from a little bit of age.

Very pale lemon with a slight green hue. Pronounced youthful nose with ripe lemon aromas, and a somewhat white creamy feel, bit of barley, and a fairly strong vinous sense. Some heightened acids, while fairly light bodied with a touch of creamy texture, but flavour of lemon curd was indeed intense, with a slight barley and almond kick. Leads to a fairly short, and simple finish

My first experience with this. Somewhat difficult to find in the wild, was expecting to be able to grab it off the shelf at a total wine. Anyways, wow. Needs some air to soften up, but as other reviewers have said, a bit of beeswax, limey fruits and a texture that I have not enountered in a white wine this light. Really phenomenal, not cause it's 100% Semillon, not cause it's from Australia of all places or about $17 and …

Pale color. Clean and lean. Lemon, gooseberry, and a touch of grapefruit, grassy elements, liquid stones, and a bit of beeswax and white pepper. Fresh acidity, very lively on the palate. Finish is a bit short. Refreshing.

Medium pale straw. Very tight aromatically. Mineral and lemon. High SO2. Palate has a great acid backbone with medium depth.

Wonderful summer supper, but with enough going on to keep me interested. Lemon, lime, citrus and floral honey on the nose. Similar flavors, with some minerals do melon. Medium+ acidity and brightness should make it a versatile food wine. Very interesting with English cheese crostini with Dijon and sour cherry spread. Also good pairing with Grilled Lemon & Rosemary Chicken and a Cranberry Pistachio Salad.

Fun aroma - sort of neutral fruit, but streaked with fresh jalapeño and piney/minty herbs. Lime juice on the palate. Plenty of fresh, citrusy acidity, and an impression of salinity. Light in body and weight. Nice sense of transparency. Good stuff, and a good value.
