Rockford Sémillon Cane Cut

Soft white nectarine notes - but a slightly bitter ‘burnt toast’ back palette that lasts a long time. Probably cellared too long.

Beautifully balanced, citrus and apricots and subtle aroma of fresh cut hay. Mild surupy consistency but light and fresh flavour. Sweet when it first hits the tongue and swiftly changes to fresh, crisp fruit. Delicious! Not overly sweet.

Soft smooth semillon. Light golden color and wonderful.

A day at Rockford with David Kalleske (Rockford winery, Tanunda) : Oak, vanilla, nice balance and long finish. This really reminds me of a young Fieuzal blanc, so I will give this quite some aging potential.
