Beautiful color, soft bouquet. Light but with some lovely flavors and nice fruit. Should go very well with our lentil soup.

Dark purple color; opaque. Pleasant, but seems a bit one-note, lacking in depth.

Fresh, light, bright fruit flavors. Low in tannin.

90+. Nice fruity nose, deep rich red fruit flavors. Medium-long finish. Great with roasted Cornish hen with blood orange stuffing.

The darkest wine of the night. This was my second place wine. It had some of the best flavors of the organized tasting. Dark fruit flavors like fig and maybe pomegranate. The nose was simple and there was a flair of alcohol on the finish. A little bit of tannin. It maybe seemed like the best one to lay down for a few more years. Saranty Imports

Dark garnet color. Black cherry aromatics. Tastes of blackberry, tar, earth, and spice. Decent balance and acidity. Soft finish.

Color dark garnet. nose blueberry and other dark fruits i cannot sort out with a touch of alcohol. on palate, fruit follows trhough from nose - great extraction balanced by firm acid and tannin. Finish clipped but clean and as expected for this varietal. should pair well with poultry and at $14 a real value.
