Man, I love and can't get enough of this 2013 UVA Montepulciano D'Abruzzo! Dark red to purple, medium body, nice tannins, still very nice acid. Tart cherries and dark fruits prominent. Long finish. Life ahead for this lovely wine.

Deep purple in color, with on the nose freshly crushed black fruit, tobacco and smoke. Medium, perhaps medium to full-bodied, with a palate featuring a supple texture along notes of bramble, plums and black currants, a touch of graphite and leather. Medium-plus acidity and ripe tannins with smoky tobacco and vanilla on the moderately long finish. 13.5% Abv.
