Honey and tart lemon on initial pour. Both relaxed a little after they breathed but still not really enjoyable. O

had again, a teeny bit of fruit and honey. good mouthfeel but overall not a joy. Wine left in bottle after lunch-not a crowd pleaser. shame as it was pretty intense.

tremendous attack. a bit much? salty and lime. for me missing a liitle honeyed weight. needs food. will see if it softens on opening.

Tasted at The Wine Society Americas tasting, London. Sadly, I did not enjoy this wine at all, though I can't say it's faulty, just not my style. Silver / light gold colour. A light, aromatic nose. Dry palate, but very bitter.

This was surprisingly good with notes of lemon and floral characters. Kept well overnight and excellent with shellfish.

I mostly disagree with the previous reviewer, although I wouldn't mind more concentration or length, and I was initially underwhelmed. The wine is not loud or brash, but there is an intriguing combination of saline, flower blossom and white fruit (melon, pear, Rainier cherry) aromas once it warms up from refrigeration, with a light kiss of oak complementing the overall clean, fresh-air alpine quality.
