Monte Tondo Amarone della Valpolicella

Enjoyed at half-off bottle list, this fantastic amarone poured a very dark red. Oozing with grilled dark plum, dry fruit leather and firm tannins, this displayed well with filet and salmon mixed grill. From a stellar vintage, would seek out more but for lack of information and availability.
