This is in a really nice place. It is no shrinking violet, with plenty of depth and chew, but there are violets on the nose. It also has notes of cherry, smoked meats and musk. It builds through the palate and is quite expansive on the long finish.

On the palate needs some time, a bit stemmy, but the nose after an hour is really explosive with red berries.

Transparent ruby. Nose intoxicating, maple syrup, some herbs and red fruit. Palate light but some sappy intensity, raspberries, mineral. Some earth. Beguiling, lovely; open for business but still feels young and fresh. 93 pts

Lots of blueberries, black cherries, spices, salinity, good length and volume. A fine example of a Morey Villages. At the beginning of its drinking window.

It had a beautiful fragrance of fruit and flowers. In the mouth it was supple but with real presence and depth. Balance was outstanding and tannins are sweet and supportive.

A marvellous, shimmering wine. Poised, providing real intrigue. Lovely now with time in hand.

Medium body, liquid, pale cherry red color. Attractively aromatic, red forest fruits, fresh flowers, spices and truffles notes aroma. Dominant strawberry, cherry notes, red and white currants, sweet oak and mineral on the palate, juicy and fresh on long finish. Silky texture, very light and easy, complex and well balanced, berries acidity and completely integrated, soft tannins. Food friendly, best match is meat or poultry or Mediterranean salads with fat or heavy cheeses. Serve 16º - 22º. Open half hour …

Leiden 2 days in Burgundy 2014; 11/20/2014-11/21/2014 : Red fruit nose, mineral. Sweet red taste, cassis, caramel, very delicate tannins, limited length, very open and fresh.

Theres plenty of gingerbread, dried flowers, smoked meats, plum and cherry going on here. It is full and rich with good balance and proportion. Sweet tannins carry the finish and theres a pleasant stoniness once swallowed.

Blueberries and cherries on the nose. It is a very pretty wine with a silky mouthfeel and good length of flavour. Theres crunchy acidity that drills through the wine.
