sb Deep ruby to the rim. Light bitter cherry aromas. Rather full and alcoholic on the palate with a rather distinctively bitter finish. Full rich palate. Blind I thought this was an Amarone or Sfursat, just missed the more zin flavors. Tons of raw material and seeming in little danger right now, but this comes off a bit clunky and under balanced. The alcohol, while huge is mostly covered by the raw materials 90+

Red and dark fruit combine with Mediterranean spice and underbrush. Wonderful depth and texture. This wine has everything in the right place. For my money, the R.W. Moore out performs this wine year in and year out.

Nose of cherry pie and a deep rubber and oak note. Rustic red fruit with layers of bramble. dried tarragon, and lavender notes. Oaky, smoky finish with a charred edge and a bit of cherry/cranberry. A bit on the wild side but interesting.

Nose of dusty blackberry, black leather, and licorice. Rich, dusty palate with blackberry and rich chocolate. Firm finish of thick tannins, black currant, and oak. Super smooth, balanced, and delicious... a great "by itself" wine.

Decanted initially for 30 minutes. Soft plum fruit was eventually joined by some white pepper on the finish along with some good acidity. Not as impressive as I remember from the tasting room, but still good.

Very good right now. Raisin, blackberry and other dark fruits. Very smooth and silky. Surprisingly very little spice. I think the Moore vineyard has more going on but this is still a very nice experience.

Young. Easy drinking and soft for a zin. Decanted for about 45 - 60 minutes and drank over dinner. Alcohol seemed to become more prominent throughout the night. Enjoyable but could use time. I think this may have been better as a PnP. Have one more bottle that I plan to hold for a year or so.
