Beautiful wine. Open from the start, no need to decant. Lots of red fruits, nose is very fruity, open. Palate is somewhat light for a southern french wine, with a hint of cinnamon at the end of the palate. Not the greatest concentration at this point but this aged superbly and the tannins are incredibly well integrated. Very nice wine.

Grenache and Carignan represent 80%-90% of this amazing wine ( remainder : Mourvèdre and Syrah). Red berry fruits and black cherry dominate the scene. Interesting finish with green notes of mint leaves. Great longevity even after 11 years

12 hours bottle decanting at cellar temp. Absolutely good showing with rich floral fragrance and elegant palate, contrary to the note below, which attempted to accuse this wine of being less open due to vintage rather than poor wine serving and decanting.

醒酒半小时，回塞一小时，深宝石红色，闻香有紫罗兰混合着泥土气息，蓝莓，草本，李子，梅果，月季花，以及些许糯米一类微氧化的特征。入口酸度高，酒液咸，收口甜，单宁细腻，酒体中等，草本植物气息，李子，百里香一类异域香料，结构优雅，口感柔和，后段有大枣和糯米的香气，余味是红黑果和木质香气，风格非常质朴，继续醒酒两小时，酒的变化不大，能捕捉到些许腌菜味，枣味更明显，单宁比一开始更强一些，口感紧涩，有些许颗粒感，山楂混合着紫罗兰，酸枣和泥土气息，酒体中等偏轻，始终表现得很优雅，展现出不错的结构，但没有非常华丽地绽放，也许是受制于年份的影响。

Red fruit, mainly cranberries, cherries, also some darker berries, pnp with a in a wok prepared spicy beef, rice and kimchi dish, in a really nice spot, open, no longer aeration required.

Red fruit: cherries and cranberries, spices, the wine opens up with aeration, good density and length, drinking well actually, but will get on a higher level with a year or two of additional cellaring.

More impressions than a detailed note. First night: closed for business. Stuck a cork in it, threw in the fridge, opened the next night. What a difference a day makes. Peppery red fruit, floral, medium body, medium alcohol. Reminds me a little of classic Rhône Grenache (say, Chateau des Tours) but more restrained, less generous. Pretty, but not yet coming into its own. I think this wine has a lot more to give, but I’d wait a solid 5 years …

Dark red color, floral and spicy nose, red fruit, cranberries, raspberries, needed some time to unfold in the glass, not a powerful, but a sophisticated, elegant wine, well balanced, round tannins. Very good now, no idea how long it will go on.

Krotida Wine Gang Tasting, Trying Xinomavro (Simul Restaurant) : This is a pure Carignan with grapes sourced from pre-phylloxera vineayrd. The wine shows freshness in the nose, herbal notes, minty, black fruit, round, delicate with tea leaves. The wine shows elegance in the palate, very round, ripe fruit, sweet red fruit, floral notes, unexpectadly easy to drink, medium to long finish. Outsanding quality, i'd have this any day.

Tough after cornas

The nose was peppery, spicy and floral, with notes of raspberry, cranberry, and wild herbs. On the palate, I found silky textures with a mix of blue and black fruits, and minerals. It finish medium in length with gorgeous purity.

Mid Jul 2017: not decanted; ruby color; weak cranberry, raspberry aromas and stronger floral notes like violet; medium body; bright texture; significant changes after 1 h: floral aromas have vanished, red fruit flavors took over: cranberry, raspberry, cherry and pomegranate; red fruits on the palate; medium body and acidity; round, juicy texture. My first impression: what's all the fuss about this wine? Later, after 1 h I began to understand: this is serious stuff in the making. Decant this wine …
