truly, one of the best red wines i have ever had. the nose immediately was flamboyant and expressive of raspberries and currants and the palate mouth-coating and smooth with silky tannins. Wonderfully complex and perfectly balanced and aging graciously. i am so happy i have another bottle in the wine room. This wine has years to go but i can't imagine it could be any better than the one i enjoyed tonight.

provade vinet blint, var ute och cyklade i Rhone, tycker vinet är riktigt gott och fint. Spanien är bra när det är bra.

A tightly wounded nose. A Bordeaux profile up on pouring, a little un clean, but comes along fine in the glass during the evening, turning towards Rhone. Smoked sausages, smoke, oak spices, alcohol, earthy spices , sweet tobacco and vanilla, more oak. On the palate this is quite heavy oak handled, sour red berries, a bit hot, vanilla, some sweet red candy drops with high acidity on the finish.

Provade blint! Var i Frankrike och gissade. Mogna stalliga toner med söt tobak, cedertoner rökig och lite pepprig i slutet. Mogen söt röd frukt med lite vaniljtoner i smaken, kryddig och pepprig. Bra längd och balans.

amazing wine, just now coming into its own and with years to go. Glad I have 3 more. rich and intense, utterly fascinating bouquet and palate of rich fruits and secondary and tertiary nuances. Solid structure and good balance of all elements.

Approaching maturity, this wine is very burgundian in style. Medium ruby, nose showing bright fruits: red currents or sour cherries, wax, floral aromas. Relatively light and taut, with firm acidity and silky mouthfeel. Long finish.
