Académie des Cinquante Anjou / Muscadet visit; 10/1/2025-10/3/2025 : From various parcels. Discreet nose, delicately honeyed style on the palate balanced by crisp acidity, excellent concentration, noticeable bitters from the slow pressing; zesty finish with very good length.

The label says Les Monts de Juchepie Chenin Sec, but I will record it here. Biodynamic viticulture, consecutive tries of ripe grapes without any botrytis, non-interventionist wine making, vertical hand press, spontaneous fermentation and ageing in barrel on the fine lees for 11 months (plus 1 month in cuve), low sulphur, 15.27% ABV, total production of 3,270 bottles and 80 magnums.
