Deep, dark and saturated. Black cherry at its core. It feels a little forced and is certainly ripe. The finish is astringent and chewy.

Full and deep nose. Lovely combination of forest floor and raspberry. Also black plum and oak. Spicy and animaly development. Gevrey iron and blood. Lovely. Almost fullish palate. Tasty and rich. Very structured but with perfectly mature and ripe tannins. Very good intensity, grip and concentration. Long finish. Almost as complex as a GC. Perfect combination of producer and top vintage. Ready to enjoy!

Wonderful Burg, just so full of fruit! There are two types of nice wine: Those you can drink quick and those that you can't. This was the latter, taking over 2 hours to consume due to depth and richness of the red fruit.

Full, and quiet oaky nose with gun powder, toasty nuts, and beginning savory notes. Massive violets aromas with notes of black currants. Complex and deep this kept changing over the evening. A perfumed spicyness to die for. The oak influence also resided considerably. Delicious and full and powerful palate. Mighty fruit structure. Just about ready. Gun powder, Gevrey iron-minerality, oak, violets and hints of medicinal herbs. A purity in the red and dark fruit. Oak well-integrated and elegant. Marvellous vintage. …
