The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like strawberry and gooseberry. It tastes like blackberry and blueberry. The body is full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Rich layers of dark fruit, sweet tannins and a myriad of spices. A bit atypical of the cool climate stuff to which I'm usually drawn, but this is really well made juice.

Wow ... where to start. This wine is BIG. It's a deep, dark purple color. Ink comes to mind. The flavors are intense, with black cherry, plum, and blueberry detectable, though it's not a fruit bomb. Structure is excellent. I enjoyed sipping this wine, and think it's about as versatile as such a big wine can be. It'll hold up well to the heaviest foods.
