This was delicious. It had been very slightly weeping so i thought, i wonder what it tastes like … so i wiped it off and it was tasty…. Later I remembered that the capsules before 1994 could be lead …. Holy smokes!!

Cork came out beautifully. Color had a slight brown edge. Nose was somewhat muted, and alcohol predominated. Followed throughout three hours, including a decant. Nice spiciness, but not much else on the fruit aspect. This bottle had some know storage issues, so probably flawed... Otherwise, would have been 87-88

If you enjoy Port this 1990 is extra special. The cork had very little seepage. Had a beautiful purple with browning from the age. Still great flavor and finish. Definitely decant it to separate the sediment on pouring. Highly recommend if you can find it.

Signs of seepage and cork 95% soaked. After decanting for 4+ hours, this showed gobs of blue and black fruit but not much else, and certainly no tertiary notes. Medium- sweetness, old enough balance, and full bodied with integrated round tannins. If I was paying more attention to this, I probably would've scored it in the mid 80s or so. Good wine.

The bottle I opened had slight signs of seepage, and the cork was soaking wet, though the level was still at least bottle neck. An hour of decanting was not enough to have all the sediment to settle but it was clear enough when I pored it in the glass. Lovely with leather and spice taming the sweetness of the fruit. An excellent port. I am using the Coravin Pivot system to drink these vintage ports and it's great.

Sammamish Tasting - November 2020 (Sammamish, Washington) : Dark ruby-purple in color. Raspberry jam and chocolate on the nose. Dark fruit and hints of prunes on the palate, with a ton of cocoa powder. Overall, a complex flavor profile and a long finish.

Birth year Malvedos. Overripe blackberries, dark plums, black cherry. Tobacco, rubber, leather. Reminds me of the LL Bean duck boots I wore in college. Forest floor, dried herbs. Full bodied, round and balanced wine. The high alcohol goes undetected. I'd say drink this now; and it will not benefit from further aging.

I'm in agreement with previous reviews. It does come across initially, but after 24 hours in the decanter it has calmed down. Besides the Graham style always runs on the high side of the spectrum. plenty of luscious fruit with baking spices, Little sign of browning, excellent intensity, likely to develop more complexity with age. The mouthfeel is very rich, spicy, persistent with a nice clean finish. The aromas outlast the heat. Should age nicely for another 10 years or …

1990’s Single Quinta Vintage Ports (Sammamish, Washington) : Amber purple in color. Mostly clear. Ripe red fruit with a touch of sourness – likely from the seepage this bottled suffered. Cloying sweetness on the approach. Mouth-coating finish. A touch of vegetative notes on the finish.

Drank over 3 nights. Shows some candied plum and a little anise. Decent acidity to help with a clean finish to it's credit. Not bad, but not memorable either, at least for a Graham's. It probably wouldn't have been made except for the anniversary and is now at its full maturity, drink up. The rating isn't a dig, but just allowing for more distinctive vintage ports.

Ruby core with quite a noticeable fade at the rim; lovely evolved red currant and dried blueberry on the nose, damsons, quite a heady hit of alcohol too; good weight on the palate, nice flavour, alcohol showing through a bit at this stage, unbalanced warming finish. This is enjoyable but would probably have been a lot better 5 years ago. Still not bad for £25, a really interesting 23 year old port.
