Remarkably good despite being well out of it’s drinking window

12.5% ABV. Translucent dark ruby in the glass. Stones and old wood on the nose. Medium bodied with cedar and red currant fruit. Finishes with a little weedy note. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with how well this little Bordeaux showed and held up over the years.

($15) Not too shabby. Fairly concentrated with pleasant ripe fruit. Finishes with mildly scratchy tannins leading me to wonder if it will improve with a bit more time. Definite pencil lead, tobacco nose I associate with Bordeaux. Sediment in the bottle must be
