Pale & light straw in color with a slight spritz upon opening. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of apples, grapefruit & limes, with overtones of floral notes & minerals, stony & a slight hint of chalkiness. Light bodied with a good concentration of balanced & zesty texture, crisp, ripe fruit flavors of limes, green apples & grapefruit with stony/minerals & a hint of chalky notes. Long bracing finish. Drinks well at present although it may develop …

Clear, pale yellow. Screwcap. Med+ green apple, tart peach, lemon w/ a vegetal, peppery radish & wet stone note. Youthful. All stainless. Dry (1g RS), w/ high acidity, med alcohol (12.5%). Med body, w/ med+ flavor intensity & length and a slight grapefruit bitterness on the finish. Old World. Cool climate. (Some blind tasters thought it was an Italian white, due to the structure & finish.) Classic Gruner from Kamptal DAC (granite, gneiss, slate, loess).

Medium to low acidity. Paired well with sushi/wasabi. I thought off dry more than dry. Was ok.

In comparison to the 2018 Laurenz V Singing I've posted about before (https://www.cellartracker.com/note.asp?iWine=3520097&iNote=8430147&searchId=2B7074D1%23selected%253DW3520097_1_Kfd41d737e5540002555e0c869f8e8be8): - aroma is pretty much the same - acidity is quite a bit lower - not as much minerality - a bit sweeter It's fine, but I didn't enjoy this as much as the 2018.

Nice wine and paired perfectly with my wife's roasted chicken dish. Crisp, complex, nice fruit and hints of spice. Would buy again.

I agree about this being a bit sweeter than other examples of Grüner Veltliner. Doesn't have the lemon-grapefruit-mineral tartness on the finish that other examples do. Good nevertheless.

Very crisp and refreshing, very herbaceous smells at first on the nose before turning to white pepper and eventually becoming fruit forward, primarily green fruits such as pear and green apple. When first drank it is very acidic with a light sweetness and flavors of pineapple before eventually drying out. Paired perfectly with spicy chicken tacos.

Made in a fresh style, this Gruner Veltliner is bright and zingy, with sherbet aromas and green apple and lemon on the palate. Good match for a Wiener Schnitzel or to a enjoy on its own.

Less sweet then most Gewurztraminer. Solid for its price point.

Unbelievable QPR, lovely bright floral bouquet, easy on the fruit and plenty of minerality. Love this wine, so says this is my last bottle

This wine surprised me. Most every Gruner I've had is more grassy and very dry in nature, but this was borderline demi-sec in sweetness. Bit more flowers and less green. Acidity there, but also a heaviness underlying it. For a price point a very reasonable wine and one I'd order again even if I didn't seek it out.

Inviting floral nose with typical spice of white pepper. Very smooth and round on the palate with citrus zest, good acidity and pleasant finish. Unbeatable quality for below €10 price tag. 100% Grüner Veltliner, which is the signature grape of Austria. Floral perfume of Riesling, refreshing zip of Sauvignon Blanc and lusciousness of Pinot Grigio. Lorenz V. is Kamptal based producer of only Grüner Veltliner wines of good quality.

Opened not decanted and served chilled. Sweet white and yellow flowery fruit on the nose. Strong acidic attack on the entry with sour citrus and limestone mineralty. A touch of effervescence; noticeable alcohol; light to medium weight on the body; ends with a drying finish with green apple notes. Good.

With Jill, Brill, Brad and Jen over Top Chef New York and Homemade Cast Iron Skillet Mac n Cheese. Nice balance showing unique cirspness, butteriness and earth notes all at once. Not a whole lot of depth in the palate but this medium bodied Gruner is a great buy at about 15 bucks.

Picked up a bottle to try after seeing the 90 rating in Wine & Spirits. At first was disappointed - when first opened, bottle showed minimal fruit and massive acidity. After a glass, I put it back in the fridge and didn't get back to it for 3 days. I was expecting to find a nice bottle of cooking wine by that point, but I was amazed at the intensity of the three day old wine - bursting with ripe …

Very pale gold colour. The nose is gently scented with water melon and some lime. In the mouth, it's clean pure and nicely balanced. Again distinct melon notes and some minerals. Not a very exciting wine, but a nice easy going good quality drop.
