Rusty dark ruby color. Minimal aroma. Lush dark cherry and raspberry flavors with a nice lingering acidic finish. Weighty initially then lightens up.

P&P. Just the right amount of age on this Rocks Grenache. Paired with baked cod, a surprisingly tasty pairing. Light in body, with nice funk and berry fruit, some leathery flavors toward the back, and finishing with light notes of vanilla and berry. Really impressive Grenache! Probably my favorite so far, in fact. Drink now - 2020.

Meh. Not bad. Decent balance, but fruit seemed a little dead to me. Nose Had to hunt like a hound dog to find any bouquet. Didn't taste like a grenache. Seemed a little lighter.

Followed over two nights open with not much change after a couple hours of exposure. Nose is really shy and I find it hard to grab much out of the bouquet besides some high heat. Medium-big bodied mouthfeel with pleasant cherry and blackberry tones, medium acidity, and abundant tannins. Monotone and a little boring. I think it may be on the decline since I liked it a lot more a year ago. The burn is a distraction and I'm not …

Decanted 10 hours prior to consumption. Nicely balanced wine that did not display a lot of Grenache character. Earthy in a feminine way, it was soft and easy to drink but lacked vitality and the delicious fruit that I crave in this varietal.

Beautiful wine. Big palate that goes on forever. Loved it.

Followed for about six hours after opening. Color is dark, hazy ruby with clear, slow legs and very minor sediment. Aroma is of medium intensity, pure and ripe plum and cassis, a little spice, and damp earth. Palate is also still pretty tight and takes lots of air to open up. All alcohol at first, but the longer it sits the bigger the bouquet gets and the more mineral laden tones come out. Eventually it turns perfectly ripe and chewy, …

No detailed notes but here goes: Very light, the edges actually looked a little brown so one person thought it had some age on it. A bit like a Syrah, I actually thought I had opened the other bottle I had brought to the dinner it was so Syrah like. Overall a fantastic wine even though not grenachish. I will keep my other bottle for a few years to see how it develops.
