Deep ruby to garnet. Medium + intensity. Black currant plum, oaky spice, medium body, high tannin, medium acidity. Medium plus finish.

Open, fruity, dark cherries. Nice fine tannins, good acidity, balanced. Nice and dry end. Young, but good with barbecue burger.

Wne shows great promise. Dry, strong fruit but a little rough still and I agree it could use a while longer to show its best. I will probably buy another to replace this

Very dark color; dark fruits and a hint of spicy eucalyptus on the nose; very dark and very dry on the palate, massive blackberry and some black currant fruit, tobacco leaves and green tea, grippy tannins, juicy acidity, smoky oak note, a bit too rough and an unpleasant vegetal dryness (maybe from the Cab. Franc) on the finish. Still quite sophisticated and a Bordeaux steal for less than 10 Euros. Start drinking or hold. - 88 points

The salesman at Zachys Wines in Scarsdale, NY said this Emilion was a steal and he was right. Classic Bordeaux claret for 25 bucks. It needs a little more time to develop a bit more character which I suspect will be the equal of wine twice the price.

Fantastic smell, but a bit to strong green taste in the acidity. Better with 2 hrs breathing.
