Heringer Estates Merlot

Good color good depth and clarity. Bouquet is cranberries, rose, menthol. Palate shows red fruit and berries, nice acidity, misses the full roundness of a really nice merlot. Finish is lively with red berries and fades into a butteriness (is that a word?). Overall a very nice weeknight or better than average party wine.
