Appearance: Bricked, medium purple with some orange. Nose: Flat, earthy, dry clay. Taste: Cherry, mint, clay. Not complex but some interesting cherry notes. Agree with previous review that this wine may be past its prime but is still pleasant and drinkable.

Delicious! Openend in magnum for Christmas eve. The nose had some darker fruit there. On the palate it was smooth with good structure and had a long, smooth finish. What a treat and what an enjoyable 15 year old bottle for a special evening. I will note, however, that the wine is definitely past it's prime. The fruit was definitely mellow and the flavor was more subdued so if you have one of these lying around pop it and enjoy.
