Last of 4 bottles. Enjoyed with my wife's homemade Philly cheesesteaks. This is a wine that screams for food. Bright red fruits, alongside moist soil and chalk, with some refreshing citrus zing in the upper register. A great WFTM at $21 USD, drink this wine now through 2019.

THis did start poorly with a slight funk on the nose. But it improved with 45 minutes of air. Still, fading and weak on the palate and not much to recommend it at this advanced age

At first I thought I had let this go too long (to be honest I lost track of it). But after a little worrying aromas blew off I was pleased with the fruit on this 8 year old wine. Very good. If you have any bottles left make dinner and drink up.

Opened yesterday, had 1 glass, TN is from a glass today. Bright, refreshing red wine from Spain, showing raspberry, plum and orange peel notes on the nose and palate. Fairly serious acidity, making this a great food wine with some mid-term aging potential. Med(-) in body, quaffable and delicious, drink this now through 2018+.

This bottle was completely different from the previous one, which was possibly flawed. This was more gamay-like, with strawberry candy dominating on the first night, evolving to a dried strawberry flavor the second night.

Brought to a wine dinner with friends, this was a big hit. I took no formal TN but the decanter was drained rather quickly, and all were disappointed to see it go! Drink now through 2019 I'd estimate.

I agree with the "Gamay" like statement. Light body, with minimal fruit. What did show was light red fruit and some spice, with a hint of effervescence and medium+ acidity. Short finish with no structure. Overall, no one hated it, but certainly no one thought it was good. One person guessed box wine. 83-84

Opened my first bottle last night. My thoughts on it tend towards those CellarTracker members that described it as Gamay-like - medium-bodied, good acid, some solid fruit. Half the bottle is left so it will be interesting to see what day 2 brings.

This wine was opened last nite, I had a glass, recorked it, and the TN is from tonite. An iridescent purple at the core, fading to light purple/pink at the rim. On the nose, this wine is a beautiful conundrum. Bright and fresh, evergreen, mint, soil, tart black fruits slathered over rocks. The palate reveals a medium bodied wine, clocking in at 12.5% abv, with a refreshing med+ acidity and soft, plush tannins giving the wine structure and freshness. The …

Garagiste said this was one of their top discoveries and the future of wine -- I hope not. It was simple and one-dimensional. Opened a bit after a couple hours. Thin, gamay-like, acidic, poor balance and finish. Poor value IMHO.

Aromas of red Cherry, strawberry and cooked plum. Might get a little raw beef and even a touch of clove. They really nailed the mouthfeel--full bodied and smooth with a strong yet balanced acidity. Very bright red fruit on the palate with earthy undertones. Mouthwatering finish--a great food wine.

Amazing what 7 months have done to this wine. See previous notes and add more roundness and all around flavor profile along with longer finish. If it keeps going like this, it will become a stunner in another couple years. This is delicious all by itself on this cold winter day.

Tart, baked cherry pie and pomegranate flavors with a nose of mild cherries jubilee. A medium bodied wine of nice color. Very smooth going down the gullet, but definately needs a bit more backbone to dilineate the profile better. Not a long aftertaste. Pleasant wine and hoping it gets some complexity in a year or two from now. Pizza, burgers and chorizo until then.
