Light watermelon color. The nose has exquisite tones of chalk dust, saline, flowers for days, rose hips, white pepper, all over top a bowl of fresh white cherries and strawberries. Pure and racy on the palate, this has pleasant creaminess and live-wire acidity, and the balance is lovely. White cherries, raspberries and red apple fruit, tingly, crunchy and alive, backed up with complexities of chalk, mountain stream, limestone. Solid showing. A little too much residual sugar for me, but only a little. Smooth strawberry and watermelon flavours which made this very enjoyable with spicy Vietnamese food.

Like most Canadian Rose, Quails' Gate's expression is playful and meant purely for an easy summer sipper. Bright red fruit and a hint of florality make it approachable. Keep this gem chilled, the second it warms up at all the acidity seems to shy away making the wine taste closer to the off-dry side of the spectrum.

Another excellent rosé from Quail's Gate. Summer fruits, good acidity - fresh but still very complex. Amazing deal for the price.

Fairly complex nose for an easy drinker. Enjoyed it with pulled pork.
