Domaine Katsaros Chardonnay

A fine white wine. On the nose minerality , barrel and yellow dried fruits such as apricot and pineapple. On the palete the body is medium + and acidity medium. Aftertaste long of caramel and toast . Well balanced wine can age more but no reason to do so.

Light to medium goldish. Vanilla notes, ripe citrus and stone fruit, earthy and nutty with petrol notes. Same flavours, the petrol scents remain there albeit less pronounced, somewhat linear mid-palate with nice viscosity and medium length. I don't know if it makes sense for a relatively young wine to exhibit petrol scents. I suppose not. Probably the fruit left hanging more than it needed?
