Candied, sour, cherries. Definitely taste like a Pinot. Full-bodied, nice acidity and good balance. Amazingly versatile because it will go with steak, chicken and fish (Tuna / Salmon)). Full-bodied Pinot Noirs are the exception not the rule. The Joe Wagner produces this one (of Belle Glos / Caymus fame).

This was a nice surprise. Purchased for several dollars off on the clearance rack of the local grocer. Along with the fruit in the previous noted review, there's some chocolate ganache on the nose. Surprising structured for the price. NOT as thin as I was expecting; in fact - had a nice, full mouthfeel with some hefty acid for a lingering finish. Great wine for the price. Need to find more!

Nose: blueberry, blackberry, mineral, and just a bare hint of smoke Palate: creamy blackberry with some slight tannic mouthfeel. Slightly medicinal finish Tasted with: solo Overall: made in an extracted style, maybe slightly too extracted but still within the very good range. Price is very fair if looking for a rounder style. 87 points
