Still a nice ruby red color, minor browning on the edges. Big bouquet of fresh picked flowers, minerals, fennel, balsalmic, and a bit of saddle leather. In the mouth, the entry shows nice bright red fruits like cherry, raspberry, and sour cherry. Very rich and complex for a Nebbiolo under $20. Will rival most entry level barbarescos. Even better on day 2. Excellent value.

Opened by a friend. Pop n pour. Wow! This is seriously intense Nebbiolo. Rich and full with authentic Nebbiolo flavor. Nothing thin or dilute about this. Blind, I would think this is Barbaresco selling for $50 or more. It's under $20. Impressive. Day 2: Nose of dark red fruit, hazelnuts, herbs and licorice.
