Barolo fruit with a very nice balance of acidity and tannins.

Good producer makes very good wine from an outstanding vineyard at a reasonable price. I'll buy more. Fragrant floral nose and a well balanced palate with some tannins yet to resolve. Drinks well young, but promises more to come. Burgundian in style.

New World style of Barolo. Dry but not overly. 3 years Slovenian large format oak barrel. Aromatic nose of dried earth, flowers. Layers of flavor on palette. Acidity is there. Finish maybe not as long as Barolo can be, more forward. 94 RP

I've tried this before and was overwhelmed that time. Creamy nose with... everything. Balanced and kind of rough style. Nice feeling all the way and a long finish!

Very few wines make a memory like this. This wine leaves a feeling of life and dynamics, really. The classic concept of great wines; vibrating volume with length and richness. Transparent nose.

Wine Spectator's Grand Tour, Las Vegas NV 2012 (Grand Ballroom Mirage Casino, Las Vegas NV) : My first note on this wine is a simple: Yes! It is my favorite Barolo of the evening. The fruit, alcohol, and tannins are memorable and lasted a long time with great balance. I want more!

Surprisingly open nose with mushroom, dark cherry, tar, slight oak notes and salt liquorice. Medium bodied palate with tasty medium-grippy tannins. Densely structured with dark cherry fruit, graphite, smoke and some mushroom. Long finish. The oak isn't showing that much and altogether this was quite a nice barolo in the more approachable style.
