Bol) CS,M,Sang) Gekonnt gemachter, gefälliger Bordeaux-Blend mit einem Schuss Sangiovese… einfach, praktisch, gut. Hängt wie fast alle einfacheren Weine ein bisschen auf die süße Seite ohne Widerlager…hier gut zu ertragen. Insofern in seiner Preisklasse (15€) absolut ok.

Medium (+) ruby colour. Medium (+) and developing nose with red cherry dried herbs, black pepper, licorice, leather mushroom, wet leaves and forest floor. Medium (+) taste of red cherry, dried herbs, black pepper, licorice, mushroom, wet leaves and forest floor. Medium (+) long and dry finish. High acidity. High tannins. Full body. A very good Tuscany Red. Drink now or over the next five years. Goes well with beef or lamb.

Decanted and Consumed over 6 hours. Fairly simple nose of violets, kind of a cherry cola and a hint of mocha. Smooth on the palette. No rough edges here at all. Just really satisfies. Served with fennel rubbed pan seared pork chops. Very good with food and should improve with a couple years of cellaring. Very good QPR at $16. Will buy more.
