Henri Bourgeois, Pouilly Fume, La Demoiselle de Bourgeois

Strong aromas of smoke, flintiness, minerality. Green pepper, pineapple, minerality. Medium acid, behind the minerals and fruits. Long finish and complexity.

Good amount Tropical fruit with plenty of minerality and lees/green notes. Slightly rich with medium acidity. Slightly alcoholic on the finish, but the finish is long with green and mineral notes. Serious wine with complexity, Great value.

Better bottle than last time or maybe it’s just me…

Acid citrus flavors upfront with iodine and almond. Minerality, petroleum and nice mandarine super long finish. If not for the iodine notes, it would be a 91-92 wine. Drink young.

Yellow in color, dried apricots, grapefruit, wet rocks, med+acid but drinking really smooth. Hint of smoke. Very nice.

At its peak now. Drinking beautifully smooth.

A very typical Sauvignon Blanc with excellent grassy nettles on the nose, bright acidity with good minerality on the palate. Very good!

Pale green and just slightly yellow color. Very vegetal nose of cut grass, crushed nettle and currant leaves with subtle fruity hints of citrus and apricot. A whiff of minerality reminding me of flint and wet rocks. In the mouth the wine is surprisingly full-bodied and round, especially when compared to usually fresh, crisp and lightbodied Sauvignon Blancs.
