I really liked the wine. Impressed with the level of quality for a village wine - the producer or the year or both perhaps. Nice fruit, nice acid, nice tannins, nicely balanced. Equal to many good Oregon wines in the $20 price range. Perhaps a bit more earth present in a pleasant way.Better fruit/earth/acid/tannin balance than many CA Pinots. A very good medium level Pinot - worth having again.

Med ruby color, clear, cherry and red fruits. Medium acid and openness. Drank over three days with meals; better second day. More village like in quality; not as light as the F esmonin Bourgogne from same vintage; slightly more serious. Tannins very balanced. Fine. Rate it 90 points.

Good basic Bourgogne from a ripe vintage. Dark cherries w/ a bit of chalky minerality on the palate. Drank half bottle on one day, but the wine fell apart by the next day - just acid and some tannin.
