A lovely final bottle. Attractive pale brick red. Even a little strawberry fruit nose left. Pleasantly soft. Not overly complex.

Fortunately a much better bottle. Mature and enjoyable.

Still deep-coloured. No nose to speak of. Just enough VA on the palate to render undrinkable.

Bright colour promised a lot but while not obviously decayed it showed little on the nose or palate of any interest. Sadly consistent with previous note. Drink up I think.

In contrast to the last bottle, this one did not sing. A muted meaty nose--?reduced. Correct but uninspiring on the palate. No improvement over 3 days under vacuvin. I'm unsure whether this was a bad bottle (or an inconsistent taster!).

This is drinking really well. Still quite purple with a savoury nose--an amalgam of everything dark-fruited,yet also spiced and floral. Almost syrah-like. Nice weight and length. Really refined Beaujolais. Time in hand
