A good , easy going and easy to enjoy wine. Had a nice floral note on the nose , light sweet not on the nose too but very much dry on the palate. An ok wine not really memorable but also not consumed under ideal scenario. 87-88

Wijnkoperij Okhuysen Annual Tasting (Haarlem, NL) : Half of the grapes were harvested manually, 30% oak aged. Clean style, elegant, balanced, good varietal character but not exaggerated.

Cracking Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Unashamedly aromatic, flashy even, pungent, blackcurrant and mango, vegetables, strong note of jalapeno pepper, herbs and minerals; crisp acidity, lovely bitters, dry but juicy, quite uncompromising, flavoursome, displays good tension; very good length. Quite a piece of work!

Staete Landt Tasting (1855) : Classic aromatic SB nose with grassy notes and gooseberries. On the palate, nectarines and citrus fruit with a bit of minerality. This supposedly has been oaked slightly, but I hardly detected the oak component.
