Nothing special. Thin and uncomplex, yet with way too much acidity. Not particularly varietally correct, although Chenin Blancs can range from dry and austere to near sweet and fruit forward. This one is dry and austere and really not much to it beyond that. Do not recommend.

Hot Summer Night, Hall & Oates, outdoor venue, crudites, charcuterie. . . perfect setting to open this bottle that I purchased from my recent trip to the Ernie Els Winery in South Africa. Crisp, clean flavor and the color of straw, nose of apple and peach. What was I thinking, I should have purchased a case! Perfect to enjoy during the summer.

Grassy and herbal on the nose, green apple, some exotic fruit notes, too. Very Sauvignon Blanc like. Fresh and bright on the palate, juicy, slightly sharp acidity, but overall well made and for easy drinking. 86-88
