A bit low in acidity for an A-R wine. Getting a little flabby at this point, but still enjoyable fruit. Drink now. 13.4%

This was a gift, one I put aside for well over a year. This is terrific chardonnay, within the path that I appreciate now for white wine. Listed alc is about 13.5% and the color in the glass is pale gold, very little tones of yellow so think nice and lithe in that way. Aromatically, there may be a kiss of oak on the wine but nothing out of place and I've grown to the far edge of of accepting …

Steel and minerals. Very little discernable oak. Nice citrus flavors.

Tasted at room temperature after glass decanting about 3 hours. Apple and spice on the nose, along with some crushed rock and floral notes, and some light citrus at the end. Great acidity on the palate, with lots of mineral and apple flavors. There's some citrus and spice on the mid-palate, and it finishes with nice floral flavors.

P&P. Expressive nose right off the bat. Tropical and stone fruits with plenty of minerality. Really fresh tropical and citrus fruit and minerality on the palete, with a slight floral note. Great acidity.

Bright crisp acidity. Not much in the way of notable oak treatment. Still pretty tight. Very Old World.

I can't remember ever having a chardonnay quite like this, and don't remember having one that drank so smoothly so soon after release, especially immediately after the "pop". Overall - excellent purity of fruit. Tropical fruit, minerality and some spice on the nose. More of the same on the palate, which is initially quite open, but closes down a bit on the finish as it gets more time in the glass, when more obvious acidity and some tannic tightness start …

Tasted at the Arnot-Roberts pick-up party. Pale straw color with a mineral driven nose and palate. Soft fruit and high acidity. Really nice warm weather chard fermented in stainless steel and finished off in neutral French oak. Liked it so much I doubled my order. Very nice effort.
