Alexis Hudon Groseille

If my rusty French serves, “groseille” means “redcurrant,” and they’re not lying. Nose of tart little redcurrants, plus savory dimensions, smoke, and sweet spice, maybe a bit of fresh blueberry. The palate is heavy on the small red fruit, with more smoke and black tea. Gamay is always an easy drinker, but this has a nice bit of tannin on the finish with some paprika notes. Boy, I really like this.
