Paul Pillot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos St. Jean

Good balance of fruit, acidity, minerals. Moderate complexity, length and depth -- perhaps slightly on the light side, but soft and pretty. Slight pineapple/exotic fruit on the nose from oak, but well integrated and this note fades over time. Altogether a very enjoyable wine, but not memorable.
