does not have a obvious honey taste and has sharpness from the alcohol. much better is the Jim Beam Apple, which is also 35% Abv, but is clean and has a nice light whisky and somewhat stronger apple taste. from the Jim Beam Red Stag, Honey and Apple, is the Apple by far my favourite.
