Måtte gi denne en ny sjanse. Prøvde den for ca. 2 mnd. siden. Lukter krydder og litt tørket frukt, innyndende lukt. Ferske tanniner, en del frukt, kort ettersmak. Bør drikkes nå. Smaker bedre enn forrige gang (selv om den fortsatt ikke er verdt prisen).

Really disappointed by this. I thought this was supposed to be a decent producer, but this had that slightly stewed portlike profile that I personally can't stand. I don't think it was an off bottle, so I'm still rating it, but there's a small chance I'm wrong.

The light ruby colour is not what I had anticipated. A modest nose which seems like a basic or commercial-grade CC with minor oak, but lacking herbs and, more importantly, character. Lightish to medium body with simple earthy cherry flavours. Alcoholic (14%). This bottle had a back label with 'L.12-15' printed on it, which I presume to refer to the lot number of the batch of wine which found its way into this bottle, which may have something to do …

A delicious, young Chianti. Intense but elegant, ripe fruit, good phenolic grip, fresh and transparent but with sufficient stuffing, relaxed style, lovely Sangiovese typicity, attractive hints of barnyard and of cream, oak rounds off and provides warmth, good length. Outstanding QPR.
