Tasted this wine at Extra Space, Boon Keng, at a L.A.S. Vino themed tasting. High in acidity with a pink hue which is rather unusual for a white wine. Light to medium body with slight hints of cherries, vanilla and strawberries without being pronounced or evident. After 30 minutes it tasted like a still Champagne. Interesting wine indeed.

Wednesday night at Chateau Davyd. Tasted blind. Pop and poured. Cork-closure. Wax-sealed. Appearance is semi-clear, deep intensity, dehydrated yellow urine colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of almond nuts, chrysanthemum flowers, citrus lemon drops, stony minerality. Developing. On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), medium+ almost full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of vanilla oak, butter, almond nuts, citrus lemon drops, kumquats, stony minerality undertone. Rounded long finish. Very good quality. I was guessing …
