Lush, full, velvety texture with well integrated flavors of dark berries. Absolutely wonderful and right in its drinking window.

This is a beautiful wine that is drinking very well right now. It has nice viscosity without being heavy on the palate. Nice deep fruit that leans purple and dark red. Glides to a rich finish. It is balanced. Only complaint is that the wine lacks layers of complexity. Suave and nuanced but not thought provoking. Glad I got to try one!!

This is a big wine. Intense nose (buttered popcorn?), cocoa, nice acid. A lot of oak. Soft and plush texture. Long, balanced, and complex. Almost a hair out of balance - maybe too intense? - but I think it pulls it off.

Deep, smooth, rich without being overly heavy. Very mellow — you can feel the decade. Not much tannin nor acid to my palette. A wonderful treat.

Incredible nose, berry nose, with a very smooth well rounded long finish. Paired with grilled filet mignon. Favorite wine of the night.

My goodness, three years later, and, not a hiccup. As stated, perfectly mature and ready to drink. Enjoyed as a stand alone wine.

Deep purple from rim to core. Nose of lavender, flint and black currant. Smooth, round palate of black fruits, violets, mocha. A beautiful dense wine that is fully integrated with firm and smooth tannins and a medium-long finish.

Spectacular Fisher wine. Perfectly mature and ready to drink. Paired perfectly with grilled filet mignon. Crowd pleaser of the night. Plenty of life left in the bottle.

Still young. The first night it was quite tannic. I corked half a bottle, stored it back in the cellar and tried again two days hence. Second time: incredibly well balanced wine. Still young, but with a beautiful nose of dark fruits and cassis. Dark fruit too on the palate. Long finish. I'd give it another 5 years if I had more.

Pretty good, but still has more acid than fruit and finishes with a bit of a scour. The tannins are fairly resolved, and it seems unlikely to evolve much past this point. You can do much better for $40.

Very rich with a very easy mouthfeel. It's dense yet has a soft edge which seems to coat the palate nicely. Cassis, fig, raspberry, creamy cherry. Excellent wine from a great vineyard.

My only bottle PoP with cheese and duck sausage. Clear surprise, exceeding my low expectations.

To me this wine was the best of the night, and it was the first of three bottles uncorked at the 33rd birthday party at Zambrano's in Fort Worth TX. The wine was uncorked to a light purple stain. The wine wasn't giving up much on the nose, but a quick pour of a purple, inky wine into the glass revealed a classic mountain fruit nose - some vanilla, some raspberry, blackberry, nice mixed fruit platter with sort of an …

Dark Purple / Black Inky coloration. Thick bodied, absolutely rich and mouth coating palate. Heavy oak influence. Mix of blueberries and red currants mixes with sweet oak, vanilla spice, espresso and dark bittersweet chocolate. Classic expression of a modern Napa-syle Cab. If you like over the top oak and thick, rich wines - this could be for you.
