Good nicely aged NZ Syrah, bold fruits, touch of vanilla on the nose, some pepper and balanced fruits, possibly a little dull, medium length

Jubey dark fruits, plus savoury leathery and slightly mulchy characteristics. Juicy rather than structured.

Well priced in the mid $20s and delivers for the genre, albeit in a straightforward simple manner. The bright cherry fruit and light charry oak is very pretty but needs some firmness and tannin to tighten up the fruit. Hard to find these styles in Australia; no so hard in NZ.
