Gregory Perucci Primitivo di Manduria The Society's

Sweet for a dry wine and having distinct raisin flavours, this may please some crowds, but along with slightly acrid hint, it's not great sipping, and is only ok with food. Moderate tannins. Mild acidity but the acidity was almost vinegar-like. Not quite well made for my taste.

Red orange rim, black purple centre, no sediment. Full nose. Big mouthful, pleasantly coarse, raw heat. Bitter cherry flavours on the finish. Goes well with food.
