Trespass Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Single Barrel

1 hr air under cork after double decant. Cedar, juicy fruit gum, herbs de Provence. Still a few tannins hanging around, plenty of acid to keep going, but just not a lot of complexity here at 11 years old. Not bad, not that good, was expecting more. I’m starting to find I enjoy Donnie’s wine much younger, unlike just about every other Napa wine.

Drinking well. Lovely effort. In a good place now.

Not the depth of flavor and intensity I’ve come to expect from Trespass. An enjoyable but unremarkable Wine and certainly not a good QPR.

Exceptional bottle of wine, but still a baby. Really started to come around after about 3 hours. I have one bottle left and will hold on to it for another 12 months or so.

Outstanding smooth after aerated decanted for 3 hours!
