I disagree with a number of reviews calling the wine big - is it showcasing a more round and deeper fruit profile than typical St Aubin, yes. Said differently is it missing the more prominent minerality and acidity expected from this region, yes. This is quite a big, quite full-bodied, wine and somewhat reductive, but it is delicious with the full panoply of orchard fruits, floral notes and a flinty minerality. Drank on location in Beaune.

Restaurant purchase- Some reduction but quite rich and young. It's minerality balances the deep fruit.

The wine has gained additional roundness and depth and is simply a gorgeous wine and a steal at its price point.

Boillot is certainly not known for Saint Aubin, but I wanted to try it. I loved the hint of reduction, the minerality ,and citrus notes. Rather full bodied for a Saint Aubin, the oak shows. Of course it is also a big 2020 but with all the Boillot premox issues I drink 'em young. I was expecting it to be higher in acidity. Not necessarily a flaw, but just know what to expect.

This was extraordinary tonight with impressive depth and concentration to its flinty, mineral driven flavor profile. There’s also some underlying, mouthwatering acidity, green orchard fruit and perhaps some white, floral hints, primarily on the nose. Really nice!!

Hard to beat Henri Boillot wines for the money. They have everything you look for in a top quality burgundy and can go toe to toe with many of the greats from their respective categories. This wine is delicious now but will blossom with more time in bottle as it picks up some developmental characters to complement the primary citrus, lemon, lime, orange peel, massive river rock, tremendous lift and awesome finish. Hold 2-3 years. If you have not had Henri Boillot other wines, you are missing out.

Enjoyed over several nights. Young but open with intense nose and mineral palate. I’m sure this will get better but it was perfect for pre-dinner drinks now.

This was delightful tonight with lots of green orchard fruit, bright acidity and firm minerality at its core. Although this is on the youngish side, there’s good, but not great, depth and concentration here, which I suspect will improve with some time in the bottle, unfortunately, since I’ve been burned a very many times by premox in Boillot’s white, I will in all likelihood try to finish my case of this wine in the next year or two. Medium lemon, with medium+ intensity of aroma’s with a lovely reductive note, lemon, lime, floral, minerality, great use of wood. Medium+ acidity, long finish. Most Henri Boillot wines seem to be gorgeous and this is, even if only from their negociant business. From 40 year old vines, 50% new 350liter barrels. 90-91
