This is sherry-like but sweeter and fruitier. It is absolutely delicious and well made. It was perfect with chocolate hazelnut torte with raspberry sauce and I would like to try it with other pairings.

(Decanted for one hour) Wonderful nose showing earthy notes combined with herbs and sweetness of red berries. Opens up with coffee and violets in a very pleasant way. Still showing some austerity on the evolving tannins combined with dried herbs and sweet red berries with a lengthy balanced finish. (Best 2020-2035)

Very good balance pointed my attention at first, still some fresh fruits and nice acidity. Lots of time ahead but why to keep it? It can be fully enjoyed now with great combination of freshness and aging notes. Very strong competitor in its style.

Mature nose showing warm cherries, truffles, leather and with a nice forest floor note as well. Still showing some austere tannins on the palate, but opening up with some tertiary notes and drying fruit before the warmer fruitiness takes over on the finish. This has opened up in a very pleasant way, but should reward some more years of cellaring. Best 2020-2030

Emirates lounge and a bit too warm. Dark ruby. Earthy notes. There is not a lot of fruit on the palate so wonder if it will integrate the oak of which there is still plenty. Short to medium finish.

This deep ruby wine is packed with wild berry fruit, lavender, tobacco and earth on both the nose and palate. Medium-to-full-bodied, fresh, seamlessly alcoholic (14%) and with medium sweet tannins, it builds in the middle and lingers nicely on the finish. A superb value, this should be at its best over the next 5-6 years. Drink now-2020.

Lots of red berries in the nose (lingonberry, cherry) with a touch of oak and some herbs. Mediumbodied, very balanced with good red fruit, some darker fruit (plums), a hint of chocolate and a good, fresh finish. This bottle/vintage was remarkably better compared to the previous.
