Still solid, but not indicating there is much new to offer. I would drink up.

This was a bottle of Tempranillo to remember! Deep purple in the glass with very rich smells ... complex flavors to taste and enjoy.

Nice Tempranillo, with soft blueberry, oak, & olives. Nice value. Wonder about whether this will age well. One bottle left; maybe I will lay it down.

Russk. GC here. Nose and mouth of iron, iodine and old Bx. Earthy barnyard too. Skip the 2010, for now. Not nearly as good.

Good representation of the varietal and a very good value. Blue fruits with soft oak and smoky flavors on the palate. Soft tannins make it very approachable.

Pnp. Color dark garnet with crimson edges. Nose shows dense dark ripe fruit and a hint of VA. swishing shows dark fruits and equal acids and tannin structure which is dense but balances the ripe fruit perfectly. Sipping allows the fruit to really shine, and the structure plays out more on the finish.

This wine smells so bad....cannot get past that. It smells like cat urine or worse. It tastes ok, but the smell is utterly atrocious. I am taking it back. It is soft on the finish, and fairly fruity, but you need a paper clip on the nose to drink it.

Enjoyed with roast beef sandwich. Beautiful dark lavender with pink rim in the glass. Very pleasant nose of rose, light oak, and faint blackberry. Tasted delicious: blueberry, raspberry, licorice, and very faint animal notes. Everyone else at dinner enjoyed it. Enough fruit to welcome any palate but draws you into great complexity. About half an hour after dinner, I was still tasting licorice. Truly a joy. Got it at Total Wine for 11. Will look for it again.

Really nicely structured, with cherry, tannin, and acid in good balance. Fills the mouth. Would age nicely for a few years I think. Had it with chicken tacos, held up nicely with the salsa. OK to buy more. Four out of five stars.

This wine had a lot of hype from a WS 93 rating. Thought it was very good, 93 is a stretch. Opens with notes of fig, cassis, spiciness and earth. The notes continue into the taste but the wine is too tannic and acidic to go any higher on the rating. It is very good and very drinkable.

Black and blueberry, spice and chocolate scents. Lots of dark fruit, acid, tannins fading a bit. Not very typical, more of a fruitbomb, but nicely balanced with alot going on. 87 pts.

Good, deep color. On the nose, there is oak, dark red fruits, earth, tobacco, and a hint of cocoa. This is medium full bodied on the palate, with good concentration and nice balance. The finish is medium length, showing decent acidity and classy tannins.

Very impressive for its palate snap of red fruits and spice, touch of grilled meat, very fresh. Avoids all the pitfalls of clumsy overoaked and jammy Spanish juice. For $10, easy repurchase.

Pleasant, easy drinking. Young. Good fruit, with hints of cocoa and earth. Decent minerality. For under $15, a great deal. Will drink well for a number of years, and may in fact improve.
