Brownish garnet. Strawberry preserves, cherry cola, and rubber nose. Medium bodied, red grape juice, slightly bitter tannins, tart cherries, and a medium to long finish. I try these odd varietals to see what they're like, but it always just seems to reinforce why they're rarely bottled. Drinkable, but not much more.

Purchased at the tasting room. Don't know what I was thinking.

Not a good thing to say about this. I would suppose you could use it to tie-dye a t-shirt. At least it was a gift, so no money spent.

25% New French Oak, 75% Neutral . 100% exclusive French oak program-nice. Honestly, Baco noir is not my favorite varietal. Mr VL liked this, but I am not on board. Very heavy on the palate, with stewed fruits, it's rocky, black and tannic. A bit harsh for my taste.
